The B Braun Outlook 100ES Safety Infusion Pump is designed with patient safety and ease-of-use in mind. It comes equipped with a color-coded keypad and audible key clicks, which makes programming and operation really straightforward. The pump provides a comprehensive “at-a-glance” view of infusion status on its large color display, so you can quickly verify settings and monitor progress.

This system is built to help prevent IV medication errors. Its extensive, customizable DoseGuard™ drug library lets you tailor the pump to match your clinical practice, reducing the risk of dosing mistakes. Each pump even has its own “brain” to help prevent channel confusion and avoid catastrophic pump failures. Plus, the non-numeric KeyGuard™ keypad with simple arrows helps cut down on manual programming errors—especially those pesky issues with zeros and decimals.

Other notable features include an air trapping cassette that catches up to 3 mL of air (helping to reduce nuisance air-in-line alarms), a proven delivery mechanism for reliable and accurate operation, and a real-time display of dose and limit values during infusion that enhances titration safety. The active alphabetic matrix makes drug selection quick and easy, and the system supports both Loading Dose and On Demand Bolus configurations for all DoseGuard™ drugs.
