Baxter 6301 Infusion Pump
The Baxter 6301 is a dual channel volumetric infusion pump designed for precise fluid delivery to two patients at once. It features two independent linear peristaltic pump heads, each capable of being programmed separately so that different solutions can be infused simultaneously. With incremental flow rate settings ranging from 1 to 99.9 mL/hr (in 0.1 mL/hr increments), this pump provides the flexibility needed for a wide variety of clinical applications. Additional features like flow check occlusion alarms, flow rate calculations, and programmed delivery profiles ensure that therapy is both safe and consistent. The system also includes an automatic restart function once an occlusion clears and supports automatic piggybacking for secondary medications.
The pump’s battery performance is robust: when running one channel at rates from 1 to 1400 mL/hr, it lasts approximately 6 hours; if both channels are active at the same rates, the battery life is about 4 hours. This reliability, coupled with its advanced safety features, makes the Baxter 6301 a trusted choice for infusion therapy.
