Medfusion 2010 Infusion Pump
The Medfusion 2010 is a versatile ambulatory syringe pump engineered for precise, low-volume drug-on-fluid injections. It offers exceptional flexibility for various clinical applications and can be field-customized to meet specific needs. With four distinct delivery modes—Body Weight Mode, Mass Mode, Continuous Mode, and Volume over Time Mode—it allows clinicians to tailor infusions exactly to the desired dose and delivery time. The pump can store up to 64 user regimens or protocols, and bolus doses can be programmed, modified, or administered at any time during drug delivery.
Designed for both AC and battery operation, the Medfusion 2010 accepts a wide range of syringe brands and sizes (1–60 mL) and features automatic syringe size sensing for enhanced accuracy. The flow rate ranges from 0.1 to 379.0 mL/hr (dependent on the syringe selected) with an overall accuracy of ±3% (excluding syringe variations). A comprehensive suite of alarms—including alerts for near empty, empty, volume limit, occlusion, system malfunction, low battery, depleted battery, syringe not loaded, check clutch, and invalid syringe size—is integrated to help prevent errors during therapy. Additional alarms available on the 2010 and 2010i models further enhance safety.
