The Philips IntelliVue MX40 is a compact, wearable patient monitor that allows patients to move freely while ensuring continuous monitoring. This lightweight device tracks a variety of vital signs—including EKG, heart rate, SpO₂, pulse, ST segment, QT interval, respiration, and blood pressure—and operates on either three AA batteries or a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. It can wirelessly transmit data to your facility’s central information system, and its robust design makes cleaning and disinfecting between uses both quick and easy.

Designed with both clinicians and patients in mind, the MX40 features a 2.8-inch color touchscreen display that is intuitive to use. It supports a smart multi-measurement cable system available in both reusable and single-patient-use options. The monitor also provides FAST SpO₂ monitoring with continuous, automatic, or manual settings and offers flexible ECG lead system configurations—including Standard, EASI, or Hexad. In addition, it communicates with other IntelliVue Patient Monitors and supports cableless measurements via a short-range radio connection.
